PEGGY KIRK HALL is an attorney and the Director of the Agricultural and Resource Law Program. She conducts research and outreach on legal issues affecting agriculture, land use, and resource development and teaches Agribusiness Law in the College of Food, Agricultural & Environmental Sciences at OSU. Hall has served as President and Board Member of the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA), Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association Agricultural Law Committee, and on the Advisory Board for the National Agricultural Law Center, and has been honored with the AALA Excellence in Agricultural Law Award, the AALA Distinguished Service Award, the Ohio Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents, and the Distinguished Extension Faculty Award from OSU's College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from The Ohio State University in Natural Resource Policy and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law, where she was Casenote Editor for the Land and Water Law Review. Before joining Ohio State, Hall practiced with Wright & Logan LPA in Dublin, Ohio, and served as a Staff Attorney with the Michigan United Conservation Clubs in Lansing, Michigan.
