    We're pleased to welcome Chris Hogan as our second Law Fellow with the Agricultural & Resource Law Program.  Funded through our partnership with the Agricultural & Food Law Consortium administered by the National Agricultural Law Center, Chris will conduct legal research and outreach projects on state and federal issues in agriculture.

    Welcome to Ellen Essman, our first Law Fellow funded through OSU's partnership in the Agricultural and Food Law Consortium with the National Agricultural Law Center.  Law Fellows will conduct legal research projects for the Consortium and assist with the Agricultural & Resource Law Program's outreach efforts.

    The American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) has honored Peggy Kirk Hall with its Excellence in Agricultural Law Award for Academia during the annual symposium in Oklahoma City on October 6 through 8.  The award recognizes AALA members for outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the agricultural community.

    The Ag & Food Law Consortium is sponsoring a webinar on "CWA, 404 and WOTUS: Navigating Wetlands Issues in Agriculture" on Wednesday, July 20 at noon.  Attorney Sharon Mattox, who has counseled clients through the wetlands regulatory process, will address CWA regulatory methodsand navigating the CWA wetlands program and provide an update on the federal courts, including the recent Supreme Court decision in Hawkes v. Army Corps of Engineers and the WOTUS final rule.  The webinar is free and does not require registration, but capacity is limited.
