The Ohio Fresh Foods Corridor will be offering a workshop on February 25, 2014 that will focus on considerations and opportunities in specialty crop production. The workshop will feature two legal sessions: "Setting up Your Food Business: Risk Reduction and Strategies" and "Selling Your Meat, Eggs and Produce: Keeping it Safe and Legal." OSU Extension Attorney, Peggy Hall, and OSU Extension Educator, Emily Adams, will lead those sessions. The workshop targets those thinking about getting into specialty crops or those who have already established a specialty crop farm and are looking to improve their business.
