Farm Transition and Succession Workshop: Planning for the Future of Your Farm

Join Ag Extension Educator David Marrison for part one of a workshop designed to help farm families plan for the farm's future.  Part one  on Monday, January 28 focuses on family communication and transitioning management.   Part two of the workshop will take place on Thursday, January 31 with attorneys Peggy Kirk Hall of OSU and Robert Moore of Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA, who will discuss legal options for transfering land and equipment ownership, retirement, and health care planning, all with a focus on keeping the family farm viable into the future. 

The workshops will take place from 6--9 p.m. at the Morgan High School Vocational Agriculture Room, 800 Raider Drive, McConnelsville.  To register, contact OSU Extension Morgan County at 740-962-4854.
