East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference

The Ohio State University Extension and Kent State University-Tuscarawas Small Business Development Center are collaborating to host the 2014 East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 at the KSU Tuscarawas Campus in New Philadelphia. 

The conference program features a networking fair and 12 breakout sessions focused around the themes of Community Connections, Food and Family, Business and Finance and Grow it, Make it, Sell it.  A special morning youth session also will be presented by the Ohio FFA Association State Officer Team for high-school-aged female participants.  Peggy Kirk Hall, assistant professor and director of OSU Extension’s Agricultural and Resource Law Program will serve as the keynote speaker. Her topic will be “How Well Do You Know Your Legal System?”
